TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTION OF HAZARDOUS WASTE TREATMENT CENTER

SUMMARY

The paper presents the technological solution of the Hazardous Waste Treatment Center, as the "zero" version of the technological solution, aiming at the assessment of necessary technologies and price of such a facility. The Hazardous Waste Treatment Center is only one segment in the development of the whole hazardous waste management system. The Center's solution shows the types of hazardous waste to be treated, technological process of waste through the Center and the description of technological systems for waste pretreatment and treatment. The Center could treat 60.000 t of hazardous waste yearly, while the total investment would amount to about 150 million DEM. The solution for the Center has been worked out for an unknown location.
