SUMMARY

The problem of environmental protection, especially problem of waste collection is one of the biggest problems on reintegrated areas. In order to protect environment and quality of life, it is necessary to control waste from its generation to disposal. The sources for generation waste are: households, industry, reconstruction of war damaged area, where construction and bulky waste are created. Special attention is paid to waste collection, so generated and collected waste should be removed from places that endanger environment. This was a reason for investigation existing state of waste in village of Sarvaš. The solution to the problem is to deliver waste bins to every household and collection and disposal of waste on Lončarica landfill. The other type of waste is disposed on former landfill, where separation of waste is also conducted.
