COASTAL PART OF CROATIA

SUMMARY

There are differences in municipal waste composition for continental and coastal region in Croatia. Except variation during a tourist season in coastal region, there are distinctions in other seasons also caused by different lifestyle of local population. On performed analysis of composition and amount of municipal solid waste in different regions and seasons, results show that there are some components of waste with significant oscillations. This must be considered in solid waste management of particular area.
