SUMMARY

Landfill "Duplje" in Novi Vinodolski is planed to be remediated and closed. Remediation will be carried out with material from fresh municipal solid waste mechanically and biologically treated and used as a part of a cover layer. In this way, a problem of inappropriate waste handling is solved by recycling of useful part of municipal solid waste.
