SUMMARY

In this work, the projection of quantities of municipal solid waste which produces and is produced in last 10 years in Republic of Croatia is given as well as the forecast of quantities which will be produced in next 10 years. Waste management in Republic of Croatia was subject of work out in 1996. when the survey “Insight in existing conditions of municipal solid waste management in Republic of Croatia” is made for DUZO. As last 5 years reconstruction of data isn’t made the same way the survey is made, it is approached to analisys of municipal solid waste management using the data from last project documentation made by IPZ Uniprojekt MCF for definite municipalities, towns, counties and regions in period of 1995. till the beggining of 2000., using the data which are given from Ministry of the Environmental Protection and Physical Planning, as well as the data given from other sources and data based on the expirience, given when looking up some definite areas of Republic of Croatia are performed.
